When to use prompt templates?
Prompt templates are particularly useful when you foresee the need to reuse a prompt in subsequent engagements with Lampi AI.
By saving templates, you can:
- Maintain a consistent structure for your prompts over multiple sessions
- Guarantee that your queries remain clear and easily identifiable
- Simply modify specific variables as needed, eliminating the requirement to rewrite the entire prompt
How to save a prompt?
1. Access the Prompt Library
Begin by navigating to the prompt library directly from the chat interface.
2. Add a New Prompt
Once in the prompt library, click on the "Add +" button to start the creation process for a new prompt.
3. Enter the Required Information

| Name | Choose a descriptive name for your prompt. This will help you locate it easily in the future. |
| Prompt | Enter the specific instructions or guidelines to save. |
| Privacy Policy | Select "Private" if you intend to keep the prompt for your personal use, or choose "Team" if you want to share it with all members of your team. |
| Category | Select the appropriate category under which you want to organize your prompt for better accessibility. |
4. Save
Click Save to store your prompt template.
