Review and control memory

Living Work Memory remains under your control. From Settings > Memory, you can decide whether remembered context may be used, review individual memory topics, make corrections, and remove information you no longer want to keep.

Turn AI memory on or off

Use the AI memory switch to control whether Lampi can remember and use useful context between conversations.

• Enabled: Marc and memory-enabled agents can use relevant remembered context in later work.
• Disabled: Lampi does not learn or use remembered context between conversations.

An individual Chat Agent can also have its own Use AI memory setting. This lets you decide whether that agent should use Living Work Memory for its assignments.

Review memory by topic

Memory is organized around the subjects your team works with, such as companies, people, projects, deals, and recurring work patterns.

Open a topic to review the current understanding. Depending on the topic, this may include:

• goals and current priorities;
• deliverables and decisions;
• risks, constraints, and open questions;
• important relationships and project context;
• recurring tasks or ways of working;
• the latest update time and available supporting context.

Correct or add context

You can edit a memory topic when information changes or needs clarification. Your correction then becomes the context Marc and memory-enabled agents can carry into future work.

Keep corrections concise and factual. Record the current decision or status, and remove information that is no longer relevant instead of preserving conflicting versions in the active topic.

Remove memory

You have two levels of removal:

• Delete a memory topic to remove the context for one company, person, project, deal, or other subject.
• Clear all memory to permanently remove all learned profile memories and every Living Work Memory topic.

Clearing all memory cannot be undone. Use it only when you intend to remove the complete remembered context, not simply pause future updates.

Understand the controls

Control	What it changes
Living Memory Routine	Keeps selected work memory current from approved connected sources.
AI memory	Controls whether Lampi learns or uses remembered context between conversations.
Use AI memory on a Chat Agent	Controls whether that agent can use memory for its assignments.
Delete memory topic	Removes one selected topic.
Clear all memory	Permanently removes all learned and Living Work Memory data.

These controls are separate so you can pause automatic updates, stop memory use, or remove stored context according to what your team needs.
