Create a Routine with Marc

Describe the recurring work in plain language. Marc turns your request into a Routine you can review and manage.

Create the Routine

  1. Open Routines in Lampi.
  2. Select Create routine.
  3. Complete the sentence that Marc prepares for you: Create a Routine for...
  4. Describe the work, source, timing, and expected result.
  5. Answer any questions Marc asks about missing details.
  6. Open the created Routine to review its setup.

You do not need to write a workflow or configure technical rules. Explain the result as you would to a colleague.

What to include in your request

A useful request usually answers five questions:

QuestionExample
What should Marc prepare?Review each new CIM against our investment thesis.
Where should Marc look?Use the approved Outlook inbox and attached files.
What should start the work?Start when a new CIM arrives.
What should the result contain?Return a fit assessment, key risks, missing information, and follow-up questions.
How should the team receive it?Deliver the result through Marc for review.

For scheduled work, include a specific time and frequency. Marc may ask for your preferred local time when it is missing.

Example requests

Review every new CIM

Create a Routine that reviews every new CIM received in my approved Outlook inbox.
Compare it with our investment thesis and return a concise fit assessment,
key risks, missing information, and five follow-up questions for review.

Prepare a weekday briefing

Create a Routine that prepares a briefing every weekday at 8:00 AM.
Use my approved calendar and relevant work context. Include today's meetings,
important preparation points, open follow-ups, and the tasks that need attention.

Monitor a market weekly

Create a Routine that prepares a sourced weekly update every Monday at 9:00 AM
on European healthcare software. Cover material company news, transactions,
funding, regulation, and implications for our current pipeline.

Prepare follow-up after calls

Create a Routine that reviews approved meeting notes after relevant management calls.
Prepare a summary, decisions, open questions, owners, and a follow-up draft.
Keep the draft behind review.

When Marc asks a question

Marc may need you to clarify:

  • the exact schedule or local time;
  • which connected inbox, calendar, or folder to use;
  • which types of emails, meetings, or files should qualify;
  • the expected sections or output format;
  • whether the work should use a Chat Agent, Grid Agent, or available template;
  • what should be delivered for review.

These questions keep the Routine focused and prevent it from starting on the wrong signal.

After creation

The Routine appears under My Routines. From there, you can review its overview, sessions, and settings; run it now when available; pause it; or ask Marc to change it in plain language.

Creating a Routine does not run it immediately unless you also ask Marc to run it now. Its normal work begins when its approved schedule or signal occurs.

Routine or reminder?

Use a Routine for recurring work. For a one-time request such as "Remind me tomorrow at 9:00 AM," ask Marc to create a reminder instead.
