Routines run by Marc

Set once. Trigger automatically. Review the work.

Tell Marc once what to prepare, where to look, and when to start. When an approved email, file, meeting, or schedule calls for it, Marc launches the Routine, staffs the right agents, and returns the work for review.

What Routines are

Recurring work, prepared without asking every time

A Routine is a repeatable AI workflow that turns approved signals into work your team can review.

Instead of asking the same question again and again, you define the work once:

  • which sources Marc can use;
  • what should start the work;
  • what output you expect;
  • where the result should be delivered;
  • which actions should remain behind review or approval.

Routines are built for recurring finance work such as deal screening, diligence intake, IC preparation, portfolio monitoring, market updates, reporting cycles, CRM follow-up, legal review, and inbox triage.

How a Routine works

1. Choose what Marc can use

Select the inboxes, folders, calendars, files, or other connected work sources the Routine is allowed to use.

2. Define the Routine once

Describe the objective, expected output, trigger, frequency, source context, and review requirements. You can do this in plain language with Marc or start from a template.

3. Marc staffs the right agents

When the Routine starts, Marc coordinates the agents needed for research, analysis, writing, review, or presentation preparation.

4. Marc returns the work

The result can be a briefing, summary, draft, one-pager, updated analysis, action card, report, or slide material.

5. Review, approve, or continue

Edit the output, reply to Marc, or continue the work from the linked session or conversation. Your team keeps control of the final judgment and any sensitive action.

What can start a Routine?

New email or thread activity

Turn new requests, CIMs, follow-ups, revised documents, or other relevant messages into prepared work.

A schedule

Run daily briefings, weekly reviews, reporting preparation, and market monitoring at the right time.

An upcoming or updated meeting

Prepare context before ICs, board meetings, management calls, and diligence sessions.

A new or updated file

React when a CIM, VDD, model, legal document, board pack, KPI file, or template changes.

Available triggers depend on the Routine and the connections enabled in your workspace. Event-based triggers are being made available progressively, with user-controlled access and review requirements.

Connected work sources

Depending on your workspace, approved apps can provide context for repeatable work. These can include Outlook, Gmail, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Google or Microsoft calendars.

A connected app can provide useful context without being available as a trigger for every Routine. The Routine setup shows which sources can start the work and which sources can be used as supporting context.

From signal to review

  1. An approved email, file, meeting, or schedule reaches Marc.
  2. Marc starts the matching Routine with its approved context.
  3. Marc assigns the specialist agents needed for the work.
  4. The agents prepare the research, analysis, draft, model, or presentation material.
  5. Marc returns the result to your team for review.
